Daily Activity 8 (ENG)



28 February 2018, at the Kitchen Laboratory at Makassar Tourism Polytechnic. Exactly at 08:10 am check completeness is done by 3 Supervasiors that are Senior Semester 4 of Food Production Management. After checking, I keep the bag in the looker and then standing one line (standing on one medium-sized floor). When standing one line, we explain how to make each recipe for the restaurant menu that will be served. After that we took the ingredients that had been prepared yesterday.
 

Besides taking the ingredients, I also cooked rice with two of my friends. We cook rice as much as 7 kg. We divide the rice to be handled with us starting from washing the rice, Stewing, and Steaming.  

When Steaming, one of the rice we cooked a little failure, which is the texture is so soft, so we give a special place for the rice. After handling the rice, I sauteed the hazelnut, mashed the hazelnut, then mixed it into Coconut Sambal.

After that, I going to Pastry Area which is managing Bika Ambon. Failure continues to occur in making Bika Ambon, so it was not possible to be served in Resto POLTEKPAR as Dessert menu.

   

This was not the first time a failure has occurred, Especially in the handling of Pastry or Bakery, but that did not mean it should continue to fail. Learning and developing is a process, such failure has become a mediator of learning and development. Until the third experiment, Finally, Bika Ambon succeeded in making it.

I returned to Section Main Course in Main Kitchen which is my section. We devided the Activity. There were as a forming of rice, Stewing Vegetables, mixing seasoning of Vagetable, and cutting the duck. I handled the Stewing section of vegetables. 
     

At 01.30 Resto closed, we began to clean the area of ​​each. After that we ate more food in Kitchen that has become heaven for us. After that, we do General Cleaning at 04:33 pm. And go home at 6:05 pm.
